Benvolio’s launches North Austin ghost kitchen, plus more openings – Community Impact Newspaper

1. Benvolio’s, a new delivery-only restaurant from Veneto Hospitality, opened Aug. 11 out of a ghost kitchen at 5610 I-35 N., Austin. The restaurant’s menu is “classic Italian with a twist” and features salads, sandwiches and pizza, with additional influences from Greek and Texan cuisine. Benvolio’s is available via ordering apps including DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub. Veneto Hospitality also manages Juliet Italian Kitchen. www.benvolios-tx.com

2. The public education professional development nonprofit The Holdsworth Center opened its new 44-acre Campus on Lake Austin in June. The 173,000-square-foot educational leadership and conference center at 4907 RM 2222, Austin, includes an array of classrooms, a library, a cafe, an outdoor theatre, a boat dock and lodging spaces spread across its lakeside campus. 737-946-7300. www.holdsworthcenter.org

3. Owner Natalie Knox, a marriage and family therapist and professional counselor, opened North Austin Mental Health Institute on July 1. The clinic, located at 3445 Executive Center Drive, Ste. 117, Austin, serves families, couples and adolescents age 14 and up. 4. The Yarborough Branch of Austin Public Library reopened to the public in May following the completion of more than $500,000 of bond-funded interior and exterior renovation projects that began in 2019. The renovation work includes new drywall and electrical work, as well as a new circulation desk and a refreshed mural.
