A TV psychic who predicted the pandemic describes her both “blessed” and horror encounters with ghosts and shares what it’s like to work on murder cases.
Deborah Davies has been able to see beneath the grave for as long as she can remember and has even used her abilities to help infamous cases such as the Milk Cartoon Kids.
Debbie, who is currently working on a serial killer case, has over the years become friendly with ghosts but says members of her own family have been taunted by evil in the past.
The mum-of-three referenced a “horrendous” presence that both herself and her mother had previously struggled to get rid of back in Hazel Grove, Stockport, where her children grew up.
She described how her eldest son James had started to wake up at around 3 am – “which is the true witching hour”.
“I and my now ex-husband witnessed him literally being off his feet being slammed backwards and forwards into the wardrobe, into the wall,” she said.
“He managed to speak for a few seconds, it’s like he had a lucid moment where he was able to shout ‘lock the windows it’s gonna throw me through the windows’.
“And that’s what we did, and we hid the keys and it was horrific. It was absolutely horrific and it centred around his bedroom.”
But the Real Housewives of Cheshire star stressed that not all spirits are scary and said that she has met the kindest ghosts along the way.
Recalling one time she engaged with a ghost on live stream, she added: “I remember having a gentlemen come through and he was incredibly charming and witty and I could feel [that] his whole energy was so lovely and he was absolutely incredible.”
She said that the man was “very giving” and provided his background information such as how he passed and what he looked like.
She added: “I really did warm to him and the reason it stands out though is that when he had basically validated who he was and she was responding saying ‘oh my god that’s definitely my dad’.
“I feel very blessed that I have met some incredible people in spirit, some of the most amazing fantastic characters.”
Debbie also lends herself to helping families of missing children and has over the years supported the family from the Milk Cartoon Kids case – which saw David Spencer, 13, and Patrick Warren, 11, disappear from Chelmsley Wood in Solihull on Boxing Day in 1996.
The pair haven’t been found since, but a new tip-off about the potential whereabouts of their remains sparked the search for them to resume earlier this year, near a football ground.
Speaking about how she has lent her skillset to the case, Debbie said: “I got involved with the case because I was asked by the family if I would get involved.
“I went to the sight where the family are digging and it actually felt quite tense, very sad, very upsetting.

“There is a real spirit though of everybody being together for one purpose, you know to find the boys and you can really feel that coming together of everybody present at the dig but you do also feel the absolute terrible sadness and desperation of the search taking place.”
She continued: “I am still helping in terms of I am there for them always.
“I have given a location, a cadaver dog did go to the site where they are digging and also the area which is separate to where I think the boys are and the cadaver dog did respond positively in that area and they placed a little red flag there.
“As of yet I don’t think it has been dug, I have just asked for an update.”
Speaking about what it’s like to have always connected with the spiritual world, she added: “It’s as normal to me as it is for you to see clouds in the sky.
“You don’t remember the first time you saw a cloud, I don’t remember the first time I saw a ghost.
“There wasn’t any initial reaction to seeing past the grave.”
Debbie, who has previously appeared on Sky’s Unexplained: Caught On Camera, explained how she uses her equipment on live streams.
“Spirits can use soundwaves, different types of noise and manipulate those sound waves and actually produce something similar to their voice to be heard,” she said.
“Whether it be flashing a light in response to questions on an EMF meter [ or ] whether it be a REM Pod that can only light up when the aerial is physically touched – they will touch it and light it up.
“They sometimes also give intelligent responses that way to questions.
“I just think it’s a really good way of getting it out there that there is no reasonable explanation for this to happen with these devices.
“It kind of helps to get it out there to the public that actually life does go on beyond death: Spirits do exist.”
